Ex-Eastenders actor Charlie Clements looks unrecognisable in this lockdown snap

The soap star’s iconic exit was played out on February 19, 2010 when the show marked its 25th anniversary with a live episode.

And even though he’s been out of the soap-land picture for a decade, people are still associating him with the unlucky-in-love character.

Under his somewhat stern looking lockdown snap, Charlie wrote: “Trying and somewhat failing to nail the lockdown self headshot.”

And fans rushed to comment underneath about how “fresh” and “well” he was looking and how they had missed him Eastenders after all these years.

One person said: “When you were in Eastenders I was kinda obsessed and I named my cat Charlie after you.”
